Okay, here we go:

Terrell- Human Fighter
Raheem- Halfling Rogue
Pat- Elven Ranger
Khourie- Human Knight
Jose- Half-Orc Fighter
Danny- Human Wizard
Chad- Human Cleric

@Toni- I'm sure that we figured you were a maybe because you were arriving late. There are still the three auxiliary classes; barbarian, monk, and bard.

I'm going to post short backgrounds on your characters later today. Don't worry I will try to incorporate your preferred histories and your styles of play but I'm trying to create a world you are all a part of for this Adventure. If this works we can try to arrange more games.

Prince Hermes Kaladon IV- Human Knight, Khourie

As the youngest son of King Kaladon III he is the heir to the throne of Tantarie. He is a war veteran and a skilled leader, some call it the product of years of training others say he was born to command. When The King decreed that a group of adventurers be sent to find The Horn of Asclepius Hermes IV was the first man to step forward. He is a fearless warrior, a master rider and a man of blazing passions.

Primary Weapon: Light Lance
Secondary Weapon: Long Sword*

Prime Attributes: Dex, Int, Cha

Bolgris Hammerstein- Half-Orc Fighter, Jose

Since The Fall of Gorgonson, when the first Hammerstein stood beside King Kaladon on the field of victory, five Orcs of The Hammerstein Tribe have served as protectors and companions of the Kaladon line. When Prince Kaladon stepped forward Bolgris was right beside him. Among those trained by Hector Bruce, royal Man-At-Arms, there are very few that can compete with the martial prowess of the newest Hammerstein. His fervor in battle is matched only by his drive to honor his tribe and the royal family they protect.

Primary Weapon: Lucerne Hammer*
Secondary Weapon: Light Hammer

Prime Attributes: Str, Con

Hawke Deathknell-Human Fighter, Terrell

Not much is known about Deathknell except that whenever his famous blade has seen bloodshed war has been on the horizon. Is he a herald of dark times or just a man always in the wrong place at the wrong time? Whispers of bad omens and fabled fighting talent follow him as he travels the land. It was such whispers that brought him to King Kaladon's attention. His fee was not small but neither is the task at hand.

Primary Weapon: Scythe*
Secondary Weapon: Sickle*

Prime Attributes: Str, Dex, Wis,

Llywellen Erandell, Manhunter- Elf Ranger, Patrick

Within The Four Kingdoms no hunters or trackers are more revered than The Stalkers of the Elven Hunt. The Stalkers use their skills to keep the humanoid populations in check and are feared by The Drow of The World Below. It was The Elven Hunt that tracked down Gorgonson on that fateful day. It was The Stalkers that kept his minions at bay while Kaladon and Hammerstein defeated the evil warlord. Llywellen was hand chosen by The Elven Huntmasters to help the fellowship find The Horn. He is an expert hunter with many prolific kills to his name. He represents the majesty of the elves and the deathly percission of The Elven Hunt.

Primary Weapon: Long Bow*
Secondary Weapon: Hand Axe

Prime Attributes: Str, Dex

Duncan Kingsley- Human Cleric, Chad

Touched by the gods in the small town of Bristledown, Duncan Kingsley's quickly became famous for his divine gifts. Treating contaminated water, teaching proper wound cleaning, spreading the word of his god; all of these things were just stepping stones toward his saving of Dame Wallace from an overwhelming paralysis. All of Tantarie know the name of Father Duncan Kingsley. It was this fame that brought him to the attention of The King's Advisers. It was the advisers that believed that a desperate gamble like seeking The Horn, an undertaking destined to fail, needed someone as loved by the people like Father Kingsley. He and Prince Hermes are the public faces of the fellowship.

Primary Weapon: Long Spear
Secondary Weapon: Light Hammer

Prime Attributes: Con, Wis, Cha

but seriously all the backgrounds sound very interesting. Short and sweet, giving us a good foundation but not dictating how we should play. Good job buddy.

ill be there its just need to finalize all the details...its the weekend after next rite, ill wait to see left on the classes since everything always left to change, they all seem really interesteing as Shoo stated but i realize you incorperated all of the C&C classes save for one yugi boy, must be some grand reasoning behind it lol

Wow, this was the best collaboration of backgrounds we have ever written independently. Whats the chances of all of us having common goals. Razz

This looks good and I am feeling it brothers. It also might be the withdrawal; like a heroin head finally getting his fix after three days of being sober.

One question for the Blade. You put effort and imagination in creating this scenario, what are the religious views? Meaning do you have religious themes in mind?

I am leaning towards on god, but for no particular reason. His name just appeared in my head and I guess it will work. Need to read a bit about him in game terms.

Good job!

There may come changes to Primes ifI notice a necessity (most likely Prince Hermes)

Legendary wrote:HA! You know me so well...One question though. What's with the * next to some of the weapons?

Its a notation for me to be honest but if you must know, its to remind me which items will be magical. I'm equipping the party with unique or at least rare magic, some getting more than others. The * represents MAGIC!!!

That is the entire idea. We waste a lot of time trying to create character for our characters. This time all you guys have to do is breath more life into these heroes. For some it will be weird and for some it will be awesome. Great idea, I know. Lol. I'm trying to rekindle my passions, this is a great start.

Leetin McBeatin wrote:One question for the Blade. You put effort and imagination in creating this scenario, what are the religious views? Meaning do you have religious themes in mind?

I wanted to leave that to you. Remember Agragon, The Spear of Destiny? I know you work best when allowed to create. You come up with it and let me know... preferably a Good or Neutral god. This adventure doesn't have space for evil PCs(at the moment).

Areowyn wrote:I guess ill bring the coffee...

Coffee would be awesome!

Barbarian, Monk or Bard?????

That is all I have to choose from?

I think, since I'm the one that will bring brownies, there should be an exception for me... I mean, brownies people... Fresh and homemade... And maybe even my salsa dip that Leet is in love with.

What are you interested in, purely out of curiosity?

I was thinking.... A wizard/rogue - really hot - has mad skills - a pretty fly helmet that gets her around anywhere she needs to go - nice rock that comes in handy in hard situations (think - an asshole character sends a fire element into a building and kills a really important character).... I was thinking her name could be Flyrah. What do you think????

Anyone?

No?

Ok ok. In all seriousness, I don't think I should be able to create my own character it just sucks being limited to (now) a monk or a bard. I am an "in your face" kind of player. I like the be at the battles - fighting with either weapon or magic - front and center... Not in the back meditating or singing songs of yesteryear.

I can picture myself as being the kings daughter - always wanting to prove herself - always wanting a chance to fight or adventure, but forced to fulfill her duties as a female and as royalty. Yet, to make her happy throughout the years, her father let her train. Asking various men throughout the year in service to him to humor her, give her lessons, don't be too hard on her, just keep her occupied enough that she didn't feel she had to act out or do something embarrassing to make her point.

Now it is time for this quest, she goes to her father and insists he let her go. Let her fulfill what she thinks her destiny is - to prove herself among men.

Ahh... But those are just my thoughts. Many classes could come from this thinking - the men to train her could be wizards or fighters or rangers or even spies (rogues)... Because, after all, the king would have them all.

Flyra. Made me laugh just a little to loud!

WarBlade you made a great point. My god was staring at me all this time over the years on this very forum and I was blind. Oh, lord but with some guidance I can see the light. Yes, lord the shining light off the holy blade edge of destiny. Praise destiny has chosen me, no, no my brother Destiny always is and always will be.

I feel him, oohh yes it the holy spirit igniting my holy juices telling me...no guiding me to righteousness.

I have a vision yes and the vision tells me, it tells me to follow my destiny my brothers and raise his might spear in the air to honors thine love.

A bit melodramatic, but you get the point.

***Side note: can you change my secondary weapon, since its now a bit redundant?

Brixx Blazington- Human Wizard, Daniel Lopez

Stone Blazington destroyed The Ark of Undeklick The Goblin Mucketimuck. Mud Blazington defeated Chief Lionflank of the Black Gnoll Clan on the backs of Corpse River. Stixx Blazington toppled The Tower of Crinkly Eyes with a single incantation. The Scourge of Valecroft was imprisoned by Rock Blazington. And Pebbles Blazington brought down the barriers that protected Gorgonson's base camp. Every century sees the rise of the fabled Blazingtons and one of these special spellcasters changes the course of history. Stone trained Mud, Mud trained Stixx, Stixx took Pebbles under his tutelage and Pebbles took Brixx under his wing. As the ocean of time changes its tide and the waves of change rise and crest it is Brixx who was sent to aid in the search for The Horn and uphold The Blazington name.

Primary Weapon: Quarterstaff
Secondary Weapon: Dagger

Prime Attribute: Int, Wis, Cha

That sounds a lot like a monk in C&C. They are up front fighting with the fighters, creating opportunities and combos to take down the enemy quickly.

This is the new roster, devised by everyone's post and a few phone conversations:

Toni- Dwarven Barbarian
Terrell- Human Fighter^
Raheem- Halfling Rogue
Pat- Elven Ranger^
Lloyd- Half-Elf Monk
Khourie- Human Knight^
Jose- Half-Orc Fighter^
Danny- Human Wizard^
Chad- Human Cleric^
Anessa- Human Bard

Looks like we have a full party plus a reserve, now the question is who will actually show up and who will actually play. I'm looking forward to playing and with the extra week to prepare I have an opportunity to make things really fun.

Note: Characters with^ next to the name represent backgrounds already posted.
